Pasadena Resident Trades Accounting Job for a Career as Which Wich Franchisee
Shannon McCain was a faithful returning guest at her local Pasadena Which Wich since 2011, back when she first began dating the man who later became her husband. The pair ate at the shop frequently, but never imagined they would one day run their own Which Wich. Fast forward to 2017 and McCain and her husband are now in charge of the very Which Wich they once frequented as guests.
When the Pasadena location began to go downhill, eventually closing in 2016, the couple was distraught and eventually decided to buy the place. McCain made the bold decision to leave her job as an accountant and, under her watch, their beloved Pasadena Which Wich was revived on October 9.
In just a short span of time, McCain and her husband have already successfully changed the minds of locals, quickly winning favor with those who had disliked the joint under its previous ownership. To ensure the very best experience for her guests and employees, McCain attended Which University, a training program in Dallas that lasts for four weeks. McCain realized that, despite her love for Which Wich, she had a lot to learn and committed herself to doing exactly that.
She now has her eye on marketing, though her primary responsibility is to continue to work with her staff and to promote people from within to nurture a strong bond that enhances not only the staff’s experience, but guests as well.
