First Which Wich to Open in Amarillo

This coming November, Which Wich will open a new sandwich shop in Amarillo, Texas at the Toot’n Totum at the Medical Center at 1540 S. Coulter Street. The innovative and trendy sandwich shop franchise has rapidly grown since its first shop opened in Dallas in 2003 and is expected to have over 500 locations in 40 states and 10 countries, with no signs of slowing down.

What makes Which Wich so special? It blends the comfort of familiarity with innovation and the opportunity for endless possibilities. Consumers are able to choose from 10 sandwich categories, three sizes, and a vast selection of breads, cheeses, and toppings to create the perfect sandwich. According to Toot’n Totum chairman Greg Mitchell, it is “a sandwich shop on steroids.”

After patrons receive their food, they are encouraged to draw something on the signature brown paper bag on which they customized their order and later receive their sandwich in. The drawings are as creative and varying as the sandwich choices are endless.

Mitchell plans to open at least four more locations, one of which will be at Toot’n Totum’s truck center at Interstate 40 and Lakeside Drive, along with one or two other popular national franchise operations. The consistency and quality are what Mitchell says initially drew him to the sandwich shop franchise and why hopes to continue to open more locations.
