Which Wich Continues to Grow With its Fifth Knoxville Location

The Dallas-based sandwich shop, Which Wich, continues to grow in the Knoxville area as its fifth location opens and another three to five more are in the works, expected to spring up within the next 12 to 18 months. Operated by Aramark, which provides food and other services to many college campuses, the newest location is on the University of Tennessee’s campus where it began serving lunch on August 21.

Aside from the college campus location, the other Which Wich locations in the Knoxville area are run by Jeff and Amy Hensley. According to Dustin Griffiths, the company director of real estate, their area franchise is exclusive. The Hensleys embarked on their path as Which Wich franchisees back in 2014 when they opened their first sandwich shop on Kingston Pike.

The couple is also interested in opening locations in downtown Knoxville, Powell, Cumberland Avenue, and Lenoir City. No rules currently exist in regards to the proximity of other Which Wich restaurants, though it is generally determined by population density and traffic.

Which Wich currently has about 500 locations open or in development in 39 states and 12 countries.
